Science and Technology Professionals:

Do you wish that  you could better relate to a larger audience, but don’t know where to begin?  Would you like to identify funding to commercialize an effort or  expand your network to increase your customer base? From my efforts as an advocate in the commercial space industry, I’ve spent time with engineers who are passionate about their work, but can’t always comfortably relate to the layman. Does this sound like you? I understand that it took many years for you to develop your technical skills and focus.

Isn’t it time to consider expanding your network/ your audience?

I can hear the sighs – ” No one understands or cares what I do.” Really?

I care! I’m fascinated with the innovations in various technologies and how it affects us. I know there are other curious people like me and some of those individuals might be future partners, investors, or influencers.

I’m a super connector who understands how to develop new relationships both deep and wide. You might have specific targets or want to reach a broader audience.

In the book Unique ability, relationships are said to create value by “providing confidence.” That is deep.

Again – Relationships create value by “providing confidence.”

Managing relationships is a dance that each of do in our lives unless you are a hermit in a cave who is living off the grid (no email or Facebook). You probably know someone who seems to possess a great deal of social currency and is able to easily connect people and resources.  It is a skill that can be learned and nurtured.

You now might be quipping, ” I’m not social”  Humans are hard wired to be social and no apps are necessary. There are varying degree of socialness, but you are social.

Each day, whether we’re making a phone call, sending an email, or placing an order at a restaurant we’re being social. By improving your social skills, it could allow you to provide confidence that creates and strengthens relationships

If you think you are a master, perhaps try on the perspective that you are always learning and improving.I know I have much to improve on.

I can’t  over emphasize how valuable relationships are. If you were to strip away all of your possessions, your money, your career, what would be left. It would be you and the individuals you have some type of association with.

 

My work includes:

  • Instructing ways to become a better and more confident with your relationships (both on and offline – They are not mutually exclusive).
  • Monetization Strategies - Identifying ways to fund your efforts.
  • Adding and fine tuning  creativity to yield a Return on Imagination(ROI).
